Access shared folders via VPN?

I successfully connected my iPhone to my home PC using VPN, however, how do I access my shared folders after connecting with VPN on the iPhone?

After you connect using the default iPhone VPN feature; are you suppose to use a 3rd party app to access your shared folders after connected through VPN?

i ways searching for this too... did you find out? a have a few shared folders on my network wich are maped to drive letter on my pc... what can we do on iOS?
