Accessibitly zoom feature box keeps appearing

I did something in the Accessibility Zoom with Voiceover. It works fine but now as a sighted user I find I have to disable the Voiceover in order to stop the dialog box or menus from appear larger [it zooms in and sometimes block other menus which cannot be viewed on screen]. I tried several combinations but it did not work. Any Suggestions? Thanks
