Don't worry I have looked at past topics. I have tried using developer tools with Safari using the User Agent as IE in multiple forms.

But still it seems that I am not able to access the website, it is test results so I am eager to find out and not have to take a half hour walk to a library or wait 15 minutes for my old crappy windows laptop to barely work and turn on.

the guy at the company says that it does not work with macs (i am thinking BS), but even still what can I do?

Try firefox. That always worked for me.
Or walk for 1 hour or wait 15 minutes for your pc to boot.

The site likely utilizes ActiveX, which only runs in true IE so Mac browsers can't do it. You'll need to run Window through a VM or something.

if spoofing UA doesn't work, then you pretty have no options other than using IE.

You can try firefox, it has a slightly better chance of working, but who knows.
