accessing contacts w/o iphone

Hi,

I recently lost my iphone and need to get into my contacts. I don't plan to get another iphone as im switching networks but I would like to somehow get those contacts back if possible so I can enter them into a new phone somehow.

I backed up the iphone several times on my computer and I was curious if there is a way to access the contacts contained in the backup through itunes or some other program (i.e. transferring them to the windows contacts or outlook contacts). I am running windows vista.
