I've searched the 'net and a number of forums for an answer to this and haven't found anything complete, so I'm hoping I can find help here.
I have a LaCie Firewire ext. HDD connected (via f/w of course) to a G4 eMac running OS X 10.3. The G4 eMac is connected via Ethernet to a DLink wireless router.
What I want to do is access the ext. HDD wirelessly with my G3 iBook running OS X 10.4.
I can connect to the Internet as well as view the internal eMac HDD from my iBook. I just can't see the ext. HDD.
Ideally I'd like to see the ext. HDD without being logged into the eMac but, if I need to be logged into the eMac, so be.
Help would be ... well, a big help :> .
Thanks!
Brett.
