Accessing iphone disk

I want to develop some way so i would be able to scan the iphone disk or i can create disk image of iphone. i did lot of googling and find that we can mount the iphone disk on mac/windows machine through MacFusion file system. But i didn't get any compilable source code so i can get some direction. So please let me know if any one of you have any better ideas or suggestion.

I think the only way to get access to iPhone's directoy is jailbroken. Try programs like iFile, MyTunes, etc
