Accessing Mavericks Time Machine? :(

Installed Yosemite and in addition to time machine I made a 2nd back up but forgot to back up my massive iPhoto Library.

I did a clean install of Yosemite too! Now when I enter time machine, I see all the previous backups on the right time line but am unable to navigate to them.

Is it not possible to navigate through time machine after upgrade? :(

how do I get my library back?
