I think i may have posted something similar to this another time but nobody could answer. I'd imagine that many people have a desktop and a laptop.
I have all my music files stored on my desktop and my iPod Touch is sync'd to that. My laptop does not have any music stored on it. BUT i'd like to play my iPod Touch through my laptop.
Scared it would sync to an empty library, i hooked up the touch to the laptop. Made sure it would not automatically sync. All good. All my music is still there.
Problem is....it's all greyed out. I can't play anything through the laptop.
Anyone find a solution for this? It's frustrating. I do not want to load my laptop with music, but would like to hear my ipod through the laptop speakers while it charges.
