I have an iMac (which I believe was either running Lion or Mountain Lion) that had an hard disk crashed. The other day I found the NAT-disc on which the iMac was storing it's TimeMachine-backup on.
Now I am trying to access the TimeMachine backup, to salvage some files. I am unable to Open it in TimeMachine on my current computer (by holding Options and selecting "Browser Other Backup Disks" - nothing shows up there).
So I have this folder:
"computer-name.purgeable" and it contains the following:
- bands (folder with lots of files)
- com.apple.TimeMachine.MachineID.bckup
- com.apple.TimeMachine.MachineID.plist
- com.apple.TimeMachine.SnapshotHistory.plist
- token
Any suggestions? Is there a program to make since the the entire backup-folder that let's me browse for files?
