I want to access some 10-15 year outlook express emails from an old windows pc and put them on my macbook pro 10.8.5. How might this be done?

I also have some 10-15 year old outlook express emails saved on disks. How can I access them from my macbook pro?

Is there a gadget than can convert those old 3x3 and 5x5 floppy disks to usb interface to hook into a macbook (or pc)?

Do you remember what format you saved them in ?

You should still be able to get hold of an old USB ext drives somewhere :) or even a whole PC for buttons

But the problem maybe accessing and converting the file format I'm not sure how far pst files go back or what recent software app would open and convert even to a comma delimitated file for example that then could be imported

If the data is not sensitive it maybe easier to find some little shop to do it for you that specialise in this sort of legacy thing not unlike old camcorder conversions

The standards not changed in 20 odd years so providing you can get to them it's easy enough after that

The. 3 1/2 inch ones should be easily as you can buy the drives for a few bucks on eBay and download drivers.

The 5.25 inch is a bit harder. I've seen hacks involving putting a 5.25 dive into a modified 3 1/3. " case. I don't think there is an off the shelf solution.

I'm sure you cold google a project that might involve a screwdriver and a solder iron.
