Accessing OS X dictionary

By CTRL Clicking a word on a web page, or email. I can access the dictionary functions. But when I am using Page Word processor, this does not work.... I get the message never hyphenate. I am new to the Apple ways, just wonder why I can't seem to CTRL Click a word in Page and get the LOOK UP choice on the screen?

You could turn on "right click" on the Magic Mouse (or use whatever right click option you choose) and then right click on the word in question. There are more tools available with [option + command + i] key combo. Hope this helps.
