Accessing shared drives in Vista under VMWare

When running Vista under VMWare, I can't seem to access my company's shared drives.

The server is nothing special - just a machine set up with a shared drive. It requires no authentication to access it, just guest access. I can access the internet just fine from the machine, but I can't seem to find a single computer on the local network. I've tried using NAT and Bridged mode with no luck.

Any ideas?
