Not sure if anyone can help, but I'm trying to access Streetnet which is a free wireless service in the UK. The signal strenth icon in the menu bar shows full strength, but it's not connected properly for some reason and I can't access the internet.
In System Preferences - Network, the Airport status is on Amber and it says,
"Airport is connected to the network StreetNet. Airport has a self-assigned IP address and may not be able to connect to the internet".
This is a bit technical for me, has anyone got any suggestions for how to solve it? It's frustrating as I'm so close to getting connected, yet so far!
