I'm running a Network attached storage unit that is serving as a print server for my HP printer. I'm trying to access the printer through my network on my laptop- sounds simple enough. The NAS knows that my printer is conected to it, but I can't find the print in the network browser in OS X, nor can I find it in he Network Neighborhood in my Paralleled XP Pro. Any suggestions on how I might make this work out? Do HP printers made since 2002 (HP Deskjet 5550) need a separate HP special print server?

Yes, I can access the files on the NAS and change the settings from the laptop, I just can't see the printer. Does my printer have to be specifically UPnP to be served? hmm

Any help would be great.

Thanks
