Hi.

I'm looking for a guide so I can access a folder on a win XP machine from my mac mini running OSx 10.6 via a wireless network.

Are there any guides for setting this up?

Cheers.

Cheers bro.

I did actually see that straight away but wasn't sure if it was what I was looking for. I've worked through it and it seems to work but file transfers are slow. 200mb takes about 2 minutes or so. Is that about right?

Also, it didn't ask me for ip addressees or anything, just the workgroup. The guide didn't mention anything about port forwarding firewalls, which some other guides have mentioned?

Cheers.

If you're networking through Wi-Fi, expect speeds to be slow as your max speed is 54 Mb/s.

For the other stuff, I didn't have to do it either. Whether or not you have to deal with a firewall depends on if you've go it activated on one or both computers or none.
