Accessing Yahoo from Mail in tiger

On windows, whenever I would want to access my Yahoo mails from a normal mail program, I would use YPops, and I want to be able to do the same from in OS X, but the mac version doesn't work in tiger, so I can't use it.

Does anyone know anyway of me being able to access yahoo in mail? Thanks a lot?

i believe you just need to have the POP3 information for Yahoo.

Plug it into mail. and your set.

You may need to subscribe to yahoo premium mail for this feature.

Yes, but the very point of YPops is that you don't need to get a premium account to do something which should come as standard.
