Accessories for external monitor - Suggestions

Hello all,

So I bought a used monitor off ebay for my mid 2010 13" mbp. I would like add logitech solar keyboard and an unifying mouse to it, apart from this should I buy anything else for the set up?

How do you folks place your mbp while using with ext monitor? Like some sort of laptop holder or something? Please suggest.

It works out pretty well. Gets the Macbook Pro off the desk and takes little space.

That looks really good. I'm a broke college student, but I'll definitely look into doing something like that. Would love to get a big 27" monitor.
