I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the 13" middle base model (8/256) as soon as it's available in the store. I haven't had a Mac notebook before, and I'm used to different 'standard' ports, so I'm trying to figure out what adapters I need, ideally without having to buy the expensive ones from Apple.
At home in the evening I plug into a second monitor. It has dvi and vga inputs. I think something like this would do the job just fine. Any issues there? Edited to add: It's a 1080p external monitor, so that's all the capability the connection needs.
During the day, the wireless network is not awesome, so it's not uncommon for me to need to plug in an ethernet cable. What are some good options for that? High transfer speeds aren't important, so if it comes down to expensive thunderbolt ethernet vs cheap usb 10/100, I'd probably go with cheap usb.
I might want to pick up a spare charger. I commute on my bicycle, and I'd be happy to save a little weight every day. Are the chinese ebay chargers too suspect to use?
