Hey guys. My iPhone 5 had a swollen battery and I just got a replacement a couple days ago. The replacement phone will charge to 100% then give me a message that says "This accessory may not be supported" and stops charging. I'm using an official Apple cable that worked fine with my old phone and still works fine with my iPad.

The phone is on iOS 8.4.1. I'm thinking it might be a software issue but I don't really want to upgrade to iOS 9 since it's an older phone. Any ideas?

Yeah, I guess I'm going to have to take it back if I don't get this solved.
