Accidentally my better half up dated my iphone to 3.1.3 by accident whilst mt phoe was o charge on the pc, i was orginally jailbroken and have files saved on cydia, is there any way back? i dont believe there is but worth a try, if not im going have to keep me fingers crossed for a future jailbreak.

Same thing here. I just updated to 3.1.3 on accident. I just got a used iPhone. Mine is a 1st gen.
Any suggestions?

Help all again, i have tried the instructions above with no joy, i keep getting error message 1015 i try again as told but get the same again,
Itunes 9.1 - does this have anything to do with it?
iphone 3gs
Information saved on cydia
stock 3.1.3 os currently installed

All help would be great, hate no jailbreak, no sbs settings and back grounder is killing me

When getting the error, try closing down iTunes and start QuickPwn. Link here: http://www.iphonehacks.com/2009/01/...-firmware-221-released-for-windows-users.html

Do not use QuickPwn to jailbreak, it's just for booting the iPhone up...

Eno is correct...1015 error is good...you are almost there..use quickpwn to shock iTunes back into action and activate your phone..once you start quickpwn it will jumpstart the activation..glta

1015 Error Fix:

1. First off, make sure you are getting error 1015 in itunes and not some other random one. After confirming, close itunes.(leave iphone plugged in with connect to itunes screen showing)

2. download this old quickpwn file:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/3zzmt5z...

3. extract it and run quickpwn. You should get a box saying something like 'your phone needs to be powered on, please hold the home button and sleep\wake button for 15 seconds'. Just do what it says- EXACTLY. When you see the apple logo, press OK. A blue box will appear after, just press OK to that as well.

4. Your phone should now boot normally. when it does,CLOSE QUICKPWN, IT IS NOT USED TO JAILBREAK
