Accidental Apple RAID0 delete. Disks preserved. Way to "undelete"?

I deleted the wrong raid. I've got three drives, RAID0, created and later deleted with Disk Utility "RAID Assistant". I haven't written anything/modified those three drives in any way since. I expect that with the correct low level API, I could "undo" the delete without necessarily doing some sort of intensive rebuild. Just toggle some bits or bytes in a specific location on the disk(s).

Please avoid discussions of ways to avoid this in the future (unless it involves how to do system management on a couple of beers). I'm interested in trying to figure out the puzzle, but am not sure of direction to go.
