Time for a non-series-6-related thread! How on earth do you keep yourself from accidentally hitting numbers on the passcode entry screen when you're changing bands? Today, I had a band that was a little bit stuck, and I managed to hit enough numbers when I was trying to get it out that the watch actually locked and made me wait a minute to try again.

This might actually be my biggest watch annoyance, come to think of it.

How will his phone help this situation?

Unlocking the phone unlocks the watch. Does it not do so when the watch has timed out?

I've never had the watch hit a timeout when putting on a band though.

Why not just learn to change the bands without repeatedly mauling the screen? It's not really that hard to hold the side of the watch. I've never once encountered this issue.

Don't tread on OP... I can imagine that some bands are trickier than others, particularly third party bands.
If you don't have any trouble ever, more power to you... :)

No, once locked out you’re locked out until the time runs out. I turn it off because when I change bands I also clean my watch and case at the same time.

So, motivated by actually locking myself out, I figured out a kind of janky solution... my watch bands are in a drawer in my bedside table anyway, so I literally just change bands on the bed from now on, and hold the watch through a couple layers of sheets...
