Accidentally Deleted App, Did not back up. Not in App Store anymore!

Hey guys.

So I downloaded Camera+ last night and today while reorganizing my apps and folders, I accidentally deleted it, like a moron. I want to retrieve the app, since I want to use it and didn't mean to delete it.

As we all know, Camera+ was removed from the App Store today because of the way that the app lets you use the volume buttons to take a picture. So the option of trying to redownload the app from the App Store is diminished.

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a way to recover an app from the iPhone itself. Again, I didn't get a chance to sync it up with my computer, so it's not on there.

I tried syncing it now, thinking maybe it'll transfer the purchase even if it was deleted, but no luck. I can't find it in iTunes.

Any help would be much appreciated. I love Camera+ and I want to get it back!

Damn, I was afraid so. I called up Apple, and they said I could Report A Problem and request my money back. Maybe I'll just do that.

Maybe someone else has some ideas? :D
 
Just ask for your money back and then at least you're not out of pocket.

I paid for Eliminate Gun Range and it kept crashing so i asked for my money back and it came through within the day. They've updated the app now and its fixed it so that saved me 59p. I feel bad still using it as although they give a refund they can't remotely delete it from your device, but i've bought enough crappy apps that didnt do what they were supposed to in the past that im sure i can sleep at night.

No it's not, there are other camera Apps out there.
 
I still have Camera+ on my phone and it doesn't let me use the volume buttons to take a photo. I don't even see an option for it. My version is 1.2.1.
 
It's on Installous, and since you bought it, its perfectly fine.

Edit: That's if your phone is jailbroken
 
I jailbroke my iPhone and installed Installous. How can I retrieve Camera+?

On the iTunes account page where it shows your recently downloaded items, can you download it from there again?

I thought about that too. But I can't seem to find it. And if I did, I don't think it would work anyway because it's no longer in the App Store.

Hey, I've got an idea. Since you still have the actual Camera+ app, do you think you can send me the .ipa? If you send me the actual app itself, I can load it onto my computer, then activate it using my Apple ID.

I tried installing the Camera+ app I got from that link I posted before. It wouldn't install. iTunes gave me an error of 0x8008001.
 
There's more work to that then just installing Installous. You'll have to install another package on your iPhone first.
