Hi guys,
I have a Macbook Pro running 10.8.3 Mountain Lion. I have a 750GB hard drive installed and about a year ago i used bootcamp to install windows also. When I would turn on my mac Refit would ask whether i wanted to boot windows or mac which was fine. Windows had its own 100GB partition, leaving osx 650GB.
Today I decided to install Ubuntu as well. I created a new 100GB partition of free space ready and booted Ubuntu from a boot disk. I accidentally installed it 'along side existing operating sytems' instead of on the partition i created. This was fine everything still worked it was just annoying, so I decided i would delete it and reinstall it.
I booted from the live disk and used ubuntus partitioning tool to delete the swap partition and the ext4 partition (both of which were ubuntus). THis was all good but when I rebooted osx and opened disk utility I find some weird partitions disk0s4 and 5 or something. I clicked on one of them and clicked remove, however for some reason it deleted the windows partition. Windows will no longer boot but is still listed in Refit. There used to be a mounted win100 partition in osx where i could view my windows files, but thats gone now.
Is there anyway I can get my windows partition back?
Thanks.
