accidentally erased iDVD

i accidentally erased somehow:

iDVD
chess

is there a way to reinstall or get these apps somehow?

with the restore DVD, I think you have to use some special app to extract iDVD from the main disk

You just need to download Pacifist . Brilliant program and couldn't be easier. You'll just need your install DVDs or CDs that came with the computer.

For chess you do need an extractor such as pacifist, but iDVD can be had by going through the custom install route on your discs and unchecking everything except iDVD. Wise to first do a find or spotlight and delete for iDVD first though so you're not doubling up on any files.

Also, that's the second thread that's included Chess in the last two days.
