Accidentally erased some files

About 200 of my favorite songs got deleted because Senuti didn't work! Anyway, is there a way for me to get these back. I won't spend $99 for that data recovery program, anything free worth a try?

I'm confused how songs got deleted by Senuti not working??? Please explain what you did.

if the songs were purchased from iTunes, send an email to customer support they will let you re-download them once.

My HDD crashed in my old Mac and they gave me a new computer. So I used Senuti to get the old songs on my computer, then I was tried to put them into the itunes folder, and somehow an error came up with Senuti. So I was thinking that Senuti I should put Senuti in the trash and redownload (the error told me to). Then I dragged and dropped everything the recycle right away, and hit empty... then a second later that "oh crap" feeling set in.

So it wasn't really Senuti that failed as much as my brain...

Thanks for the link, but I don't have an external HDD.
