iPhone 16 Pro Accidentally push the side button (screen lock) all the time!

I’m coming from a 12 Pro to a 16 Pro. Is the aide button more clicky than the 12 Pro. I accidentally click the side button while changing hand positions all the time, it’s driving me nuts. Does anyone else have this problem or am I special ?

I'm not having that problem. But took me a while to stop pressing the silent button when I mean to press the up volume button. Just a learning curve. (I don't think you are special, just different.)

Yes I frequently activate screenshots or lock the phone while trying to take pictures (iPhone 12). The modern iPhones are an ergonomic step backwards in that regard. Power button on top in iPhones 4/5 was superior in my view.

I accidentally take screenshots and/or lock the phone on a daily basis. Very annoying! That and accidentally going into edit mode for the lock screen because I've pressed my finger on the screen whilst trying to hold the phone with various other bags in my hand.

Yup, I'm having to get used to that one too. The 12 Pro was the longest I've ever had an iPhone model ... could be the reason haha. Pretty much the main reason I upgraded was the battery and USB C!

This is the most annoying thing ever. What is so different about this button compared the previous models ? Is it more pressure sensitive or something ? I find it happens most often when I’m holding the phone in a way so I don’t drop it on my face LOL.
