accidentally reset all, boot stuck. 3gs 4.0

Hello,
I recently have my first iPhone, 3GS - 16 GB new bootrom.
with jailbroken 4.0 OS
I accidentally reset my phone "reset all" from with-in the phone,
now my phone wont start up ( the apple logo is all I can see and it gets stuck there).

but before I do that I read a forum to always save the SHSH blobs, using tiny umbrella. so now I have only have SHSH blobs 4.0 3gs.

What will I do now/steps/use program to restore it into 4.0? tnx in advance.

Assuming you have SHSH blobs for the fw you want to restore to use this guide. I am a bit curious b/ you say you saved your 4.0 SHSH blobs just before you reset the phone, this is not possible. The only fw Apples currently serves is 4.2.1 and 4.3 Beta

The guide may be called "how to downgrade" but restoring to any other firmware but the latest is in a sense a downgrade =)

Are you sure you have the 4.0 SHSH saved? If you just used TinyUmbrella for the first time it will only saved what firmware is current (4.2.1).

yes! Im sure I have SHSH 3gs 4.0, I do this saving maybe November or October 2010.. cannot really remember the date. I used Tiny umbrella 4.00.24. and when I open this now its showing that it saved 4.03gs SHSH.

Now, whats the steps to downgrade to 4.0 if I update it into 4.2 the latest firmware now. tnx

Download the latest version of TinyUmbrella.

Download a (3GS) iPhone2,1_4.0 firmware

Connect iPhone

Open Tinyumbrella > Run TSS Server (iTunes will close. Reopen)

In iTunes choose your ipsw > Shift+Restore or Option+Restore

Then jailbreak with www.jailbreakme.com from Safari on the iPhone.

whats the best thing to do? update it into 06.15.00? how/steps?

How did you get the baseband to 5.15?

Yeah, now the only option is to upgrade it if you want the unlock.

I would like to find out how he gets the 5.15 baseband as well. Might be he restore to the latest firmware instead 4.2.1 where the 05.15 comes in. Otherwise, he can't get 05.15 from IOS 4.0.

OP, can you check to see what firmware you have?

I update it into 4.2.1 then run Tinyumbrella > Run TSS Server to restore to 4.0. it was success, then I use ultrasnow to unlock but it wont unlock. so I check the baseband, it was 5.15.

now.. I restore it again to 4.2.1 and use redsnow for ipad FW to have 6.15.
I will be stock on 4.2.1 and 6.15 baseband!!!
but now its unlocked and the best thing is I can use it as a phone! XD
