I am a new user of iPhone just bought a used iPhone 3G with Firmware 3.0, 2 days a go. I heard about new firmware 3.1.2 so i update my iPhone without reading any of the help files / precautions available all over the internet also on your forum about 3.1.2 baseband problem or jail-breaking and unlocking issues. Now i cant use my local simcard (Telenor Pakistan). My iPhone 3g stuck on itunes and a cable pictures with emergency calls slide option only. I use "blackrain" but it also stuck on "running". I tried the same on many computers with different Windows OS like XP, Vista and 7 but the same thing happens every time.
Than i try to search a custom pwned Mac made iPhone 3G 3.1.2 firmware and fortunately i found one. I update with this custom jail-braked firmware after this i cant get Menu on my iPhone. I know iPhone is locked because of baseband but Menu should work but same stuck on same itunes icon and cord picture.
Thats my story, i am very angry with my iPhone but fault is mine.
So is there a way to solve my itunes icon and cord problem? I know in the Cydia i can download Fuzzyband and downgrade my baseband with it but how can i access my iPhone Main Menu?
