Today I went to CompUSA and bought a webcam. It said PC on it but i thought nothing of it because most PC peripherals work just fine on the mac. I brought it home plugged it in and fired up iChat (i am using iChat USB cam) so it being usb is not the problem. In the settings it says that there is no camera attatched but it sees the microphone on the camera. Is there a bit of soft ware out there that will let me use a windows only webcam with my mac?

P.S i will not be able to take the camera back for a while so that is why I am looking for a fix.

Ive tried that but it doesn't work

Under a list of cameras it says that the LabTec one that I am using is not suppourted.

Oh, sorry, I should have looked. :(

I guess there's not much you can do besides bringing it back then. You should get the Macally IceCam, it works great with iChatUSBCAM, and you actually get 50% off the iChatUSBCAM reg fee if you haven't registered yet.
