Accidently deleted iPhone backup from computer

Hey, I just accidently deleted iPhone backup from computer because it was appearing like an folder so I was trying to fix in but got it in the worst way possible

Do there's a way to recover the backup files deleted? please replay because that was a friend backup and now he lost everything so in a way I feel guilty so I'm trying the best to fix it

iPhone backups are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
Did you delete it from there? Did you empty the Trash too?
If both answers are yes, I don't think you can recover it.
