I'm stumped, I was making a folder for Iphoto and somehow renamed named the computer icon in the finder dock to "Dave's Photo's".
(I may have tried to set a folder full of flower pictures as a screensaver?)
"Dave's Photo's" has turned up several places...
Following the computer icon in the Finder sidebar
On the log in page under Mac OS X
Always listed First in the Finder "Path"
In the Apple screen saver under computer name.
If not appearing as the computer name, it's the Name at the Top of the File that all the other drives appear in when opening a new finder window.
The renaming also messed up my Blue Tooth mobile recognition, since the title changed from "Computer" to "David's Photos".
I've tried everything to get rid of it and nothing comes up looking in the finder.
Could someone Please tell me how to reset my computer name, I've been trying everything and searching for an answer all evening.
