Accidently restarted my router while apps were still updating

Hiya, a while ago I accidently restarted my wifi router while my iphone's apps were still updating. Now I'm kinda concerned if internet is cut off while the apps were still downloading it's updates, is there any possible chance for the software to be corrupted or damaged? Currently I'm using iphone 4s with iOS 5. Sorry for my awkward tone and many thanks in advance.

No. They just pause the download and then resume once Internet is returned.

At worst-case, just plug into iTunes and sync your apps from there.

I've had this happen and the apps got stuck in a paused state mid-download. Tapping on each app's icon resumed the update and everything was fine.

Normally they should resume updating when the internet connection reconnects (you might have to touch the app icon to un-pause it). Other options are syncing the updates via iTunes or restarting your device and then checking for updates again.
