I think when I atempted and succeeded in cloning my old vista pc. (Done legally with two separate copies of vista.) I accidently wiped OSX off my iMac. It worked before I cloned it.
Anyway being brand new to macs I'm not sure how to reinstall osx I would be greatful if someone would give me some advice on how to do this thank you.

What makes you think you wiped OS X? What are your symptoms, what are you seeing/not seeing?

You could of overwritten the wrong partition, or Windows could just be the primary boot now. What happens if you hold the Option key when you power up? Is the Mac partition available as a boot source?

It wouldn't let me restart in osx but I've sorted now. Now just have to re-install windows. I think I probably did overwrite the wrong partition.
