It should more precisely hit 10 billion downloads on 1/22 plus 14 hours (256 hours from this post)

But I say 1/22 because I must account for variable change. In this case, the variable change would be attributed to people buying at an increased rate as it gets closer to the deadline.

I timed the sequence, it seems 3 seconds per thousand, who knows if its delayed by hours weeks or days. It is differential. But somewhere around 3.25 hours from (10:15 pm PT 1/21/11) till 10million. Thats roughly 1:00am 1/22.
I think Ill be sleeping.

the countdown already ended, but that link that was posted above still says that their is 11mins left?? (looks like someone got it wrong)
