iPod touch account not working on itouch

today i found my long lost itunes account password and id in my filling cabinet so i entered it on my ipod touch. note i already have another account that i use. and the account that i found didn't work so i went back and signed in with my normal account and now it just says that the password is incorrect. so i tried every thing i new to try to sign in with this account but its still not working. please help
