i have snow leopard 10.6.6 and i saw someone with accounts in their menu bar. what i mean is they could click on the menu bar item and they could choose an account and login to it without having to go apple>logout. how do you do this?

i found it i seemed to have missed it when i looked. its in system preferences under accounts, login options, and its called fast user switching

Its great to use if you share your Mac with other people. If you need to leave your mac doing a long task just switch to another user and your account stayes active but you need the password to get back in.
