I am trying to decide on a new LCD to use for the next 3 to 5 years and would like to purchase the best quality display for around $700 - 1000. I will primarily be using the display for text/writing and also for video editing and eventually digital photography.
I have narrowed my picks down to these two for now: ACD 23" and Lacie 324. I have considered the Hazro 24" but I think it is still S-IPS, in which case it offers little if anything over the ACD, and I can't find anywhere from where to purchase it in the US. I realize the Lacie uses and S-PVA panel, but I think the fact that it is 10-bit will help compensate. Obviously, the Lacie LCD is newer, but I would like your opinions.
