I am planning to get an Apple display and currently, I can buy the 24" LED monitor since it is readily on stock. Most prices range from 719-799$ but with the upcoming 27" ACD release, I was wondering if the 24" price will be lowered as a result of the new model being introduced. If this is so, I might as well wait but I can't be certain if the price will really be brought down. Anyone have some info about this?

Anyone know the suggested street price of the 27" ACDs?

Apple already lowered the price of the 24" by $100, after the announcement of the 27" model. But by the time that the 27" is released, I expect that the 24" will be out of stock.

You could consider buying a refurbished 24" display, which is what I'm doing. It costs $600, as opposed to $800 (or $750 with educational discount).

I see. Is it true that the street selling price of the 27" is about 1K$ or will be lower?
