This has been bugging me for a while, I figured the problem would go away eventually.
1. When I leave the monitor on, but shutdown the Mac Pro, I wake up in the morning and this happens.
2. Power light intermittently lights on/off (please see attached).
3. When I turn on the Mac Pro, the monitor's light goes to being fully turned on, but the display doesn't work.
4. Have to unplug the power/replug it back in to make it work.
My work around is to turn off the monitor after turning off the system and this does not happen.
It never used to do this. The monitor is of course about 3-4 years old now (got it brand new) so I assume it's just the aging of the electronics? I have a 23" ACD as well on another system and it doesn't do that, though, and the other one is much older.
Note: video has been shortened.
