Hello All,

I have an Apple Cinema 30" display with a broken DVi connector, I broke it after pulling the cable, from my Mac Pro! Local Apple authorized dealer won't repair it because they say it's too old. The connector needs replacing. does anyone know of a someone who would repair or replace the connector? I live in Australia, Melbourne. As I really need this monitor to work again!

Thanks in advance,
Merv Stent

I found a similar guide for a 24" model if you want to DIY the repair.

Hope this helps!

Hello All,

I just took my Apple Cinema 30" display to a local TV Repair in my area, and it only cost me $100 for him to change the DVI connector! I am very pleased that, I have my ACP 30" working again!

Thanks in advance,

good to see you got it repaired. I have a 30 acd that now won't power on .. so I'm thinking the power brick is dead .. but they are like 200 dollars to replace .. so not sure if its worth fixing
