Okkkk question time again! So here's what we have got/getting:

- ACD HD 23"
- 2010 Mac Pro
- G5
- Apple ADC to DVI adaptor
- REX-230UDA (it's like a belkin flip)
- http://translate.google.com/transla...s.com/products/subpage/kvm/230uda_meisyo.html

Our plan is to use the G5's old 23" and the Apple Adaptor to connect to the REX-230UDA which then connects to both the Mac Pro and G5.

The question is what is the deal with the USB connection on the Apple Adaptor, does it affect the quality of the Display? or does it only connect the the USB ports on the Display to the Tower that it is connected too? If it is only the USB ports it affects, will plugging the Adaptors USB into a USB hub and using 2 USB cables to each of the towers allow the Displays hub to be use by both computers regardless of their on/off state? or do we put the adaptors USB in the Displays/REX-230UDA USB?

Thanks for the help.
