ACD performance comparison to iMac screens?

Just a question here, but what's the performance comparison of Apple Cinema Displays to the screens in the iMac? i've seen both side by side and i don't see much of a difference in quality. Does anyone have any experience with using both at home or at work and notice and real differences in quality?

And just for the record, I LOVE the screen on my 20" iMac. Very bright and super sharp. Excellent performance.

They look the same. The ACD seems a bit brighter compared to the iMac's screen. However, that might be due to the iMac being almost a year older than the current spec ACD's.
