From what I can gather (thanks to google) it appears that apple uses H-IPS? Is this accurate and can anyone confirm/deny whether the panels are 8bit?
I own a unibody MBP, and while I hate the dithering,it is noticeable on some photographs, I do have it hooked up to a dell 2405 display. While it is a dell, it has worked well up to now. I'm starting to have some issues and I may think about getting a new display but before I do that, I want to get as much information about the ACDs as possible.
