I will be picking up my new Mac today & I am very excited. Most of the software I use has a Mac equivalent but there are a few things out there I need help with.

One program I use a lot is ACDSee 9. I know there is iPhoto, but I am not sure if it will work the way I want it to.

Here are the things I like about ACDSee. Can iPhoto do these?
If not is there a third party program out there similar to ACDSee?

  • Having a tree structure on the left like Windows Explorer so I can easily move from one client folder to another
  • Sophisticated batch rennaming
  • Batch resizing
  • One click jump to my image editor software (PhotoShop or Fireworks)
  • One click resizing for email
