Acer H277HK no image over thunderbolt

Hi,
I am trying to connect a macbookpro 13' w TB (2017) to the screen using usbc/thunderbolt. It charges ok but there is no image, if i connect using dongles and HDMI there is works so the re is no fundamental problem with the screen. I tried different cables (and cables that work with LG5k screens) but no luck.

any suggestions?

Turn out text the screen had 2016 firmware will bring sold as brand new
trying to return the screen and get the updated version for thunderbolt 3

Hi Can you tell me or send me a link to how to do the update. I see some instruction here but for H277HU

We did not do it ourselves. We returned the screen and got the same screen back with new firmware.

I have the same screens but 2 different firmware on it. The one with the HDR feature which works perfectly with the USB c the other is flaky. After update the firmware do you have the HDR feature?
