Im looking at this monitor:
P241W
http://reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/acer-p241w-lcd-monitor/4505-3174_7-32569194.html

I was wondering if anyone had used this for a Octocore mac pro with an 8800 for video/photography work or in general?

and if so does it come with a decent gamut production and even backlight?

i have a 23" ACD but dont want to spend that much on another display, and this one i found for a few decent prices.

any tips or recommendations, thank you!

i have a 22 inch acer monitor that i got from newegg and let me tell you that it's one of the best bargains out there... while the monitor might not be as color accurate, its got a pretty decent brightness level, good contrast and an AWESOME price tag... i wouldve gotten 2 but i had a really tight budget. Color accuracy might be a little issue since calibrating it is a little confusing... i work with vector graphics and photography on a daily basis so that is a small constrain for me but i can live with it.
