Why do you think it wouldn't be compatible?

If it has HDMI, Displayport etc. connection and you have (are using) the right cables/adapter it should work.

What resolution is it? If it’s 1440p bear in mind you are likely to have jagged/blurry fonts. Also things like G-Sync obviously won’t work.

I'm having my MacBook Air 2017 hook up to it right now and not using any scaled resolution

I can set scaled 1080p and makes no difference
