WinMo 6.1 changed the memory map, and got rid of a lot of problems. It's been really solid for me. And man, I love having Slingbox :)

There are so many nice skins and UI frontends for WM now, it's easy to find, or make one, that you like.

A lot of people love SPB's shell. Check out especially about 0:55 into this video for its coming today screen carousel (similar to what the Pre does):

SPB Mobile Shell v3

Personally, I like the TouchFlo UIs, and the new PointUI (which has its own scripting language to create on-screen applets).

Yep, my iPhone fell apart after a whole eight months so I went back to the old Tilt, put 6.1 on it and the usual apps...Slingplayer, Sirius, TomTom....and after a few days of it I'm wondering if I'm going to bother with the iPhone again or just sell it when it gets back. PointUI is very nice, also. Fast, responsive...almost makes it a new phone. BTW, read up on the Touch Pro 2. If I keep my iPhone after this, the Touch Pro 2 will definitely bury it once and for all.

How exactly did your iphone "fall apart" ?

I want to see Acer's smartphones break apart like the computers and laptops they make. :D
