i am the admin on my computer

there are two other users, they are standard accounts

so why cant i place any files or see any files in there accounts

when i try it says i do not have sufficient access privileges

is there anyway to get around this?

Thanks:)

Enable logging in as root, or use the sudo command.

But do those things wisely and with discretion. Don't come back and complain if you mess up your computer, or your friendships for that matter. ;)

ah stuff that cause i dont know what im doing and dont want to mess things up

it was only my mums and brothers accounts anyway, i just wanted to know because usually i upload the photos on my account and my mum wants them to, but i have to put in the drop box and its just easier for her to have then on her desktop etc...

its no big deal just makes things easier:)

It might be easiest for her to just make an alias to the dropbox on her desktop? :) Have her (or when you're logged in as her) go to her public folder, and then, while holding down option and command/apple, drag the drop box to her desktop (you'll see a little curved arrow like this one:

transfer_folder-20070811-091101.jpg

which will let you know it's an alias you are making). Then, you can put them in her dropbox as usual, but she can just open the drop box from the desktop. :)
